In addition, a tribal member may be eligible if his or her household income is at or below 135% of the federal poverty guidelines:

A tribal member is eligible to participate in the Tribal Lifeline Program and receive the State Tribal Lifeline subsidy (currently $3.50) and additional federal subsidy (currently $1.75) if he or she qualifies for the State Lifeline Program. Please see the State Lifeline Brochure for eligibility requirements and application procedure.

Lifeline subsidies may only be applied once per household on either a tribal member's landline or wireless service. Lifeline subsidies automatically terminate upon loss of eligibility and monthly access rates will increase by $38.50. Any reduction in the available Lifeline subsidy will increase monthly access rates by the same amount.
