Conference Calling allows you to talk with up to 3 people at the same time. Conduct a business conference call while at the beach, or patch in your circle of friends and plan a party.

Call Waiting allows you to receive incoming calls while you're on the phone. With call waiting you'll never miss an important incoming call because you were talking with someone else.

Call Forwarding allows you to send your incoming calls to a different phone number. Three modes of call forwarding are available: All calls, only calls while busy or calls unanswered after 5 rings.

Caller ID (where available) allows you to see the name or phone number of your incoming calls. Screen your calls easily with Caller ID. Missed calls can be returned by selecting the Caller ID number from the missed call list and pressing send. If you have your phone book programmed your phone can match the caller ID number to the phone book name and display the name for the incoming call on most models of phones.

Message Waiting Indicator (where available) lets you know the minute you get a new voice mail message. You'll save time and money checking for new messages. You'll also be faster to check your messages since you'll know they are there waiting for you. If you miss someone's important call, you'll know if they left you a message.

SMS (Short Messaging Service) is a fun way to communicate. It's like having e-mail over your phone. Send text messages to other phones or e-mail addresses. Other people can send you messages via e-mail as well. Now your phone can double as an alphanumeric pager. Edge Wireless SMS allows you to receive short text messages, up to 160 characters in length, directly on a compatible digital wireless phone. Most rate plans include 50 incoming or outgoing SMS messages with no charge. With a digital multi-network phone that supports two-way messaging, plus Edge Wireless Short Messaging Service, you can also receive, send, reply to, and forward messages to any Internet e-mail address or another compatible Edge Wireless digital phone. Use it to "pass notes" in class or at your next long-winded business meeting. Contact a customer service representative to add this feature to your plan.

Insurance gives you peace of mind. Now a lost or destroyed phone won't affect your bottom line. For more information on how to get your phone insured, visit one of our Stores, or call Customer Care at 866.350.3343 (EDGE) or 611 on your Edge phone.

InfoEdge is Edge's contemporary version of the venerable operator. Call #555 and you'll be put in touch with a plethora of information. Find everything from phone numbers to addresses by calling InfoEdge. Need weather information or traffic updates? InfoEdge can help.

Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) is the next generation SMS service. It allows you to use a camera phone to capture, send and receive pictures from your wireless phone. MMS messages can be sent from phone to phone, phone to internet(email) and internet(email) to phone. Text messages and picture files such as .jpg messages can also be received. Some models of phones even include keyboards to simplify creating and sending messages.

Wireless Applications Protocol (WAP) allows you to access internet information directly from your phone. Using a WAP enabled phone you can access WEB sites that are formatted for WAP giving easy access to useful information such as weather, sports, stocks and news.

Voice Mail service acts as your own personal answering machine. Unanswered calls will be routed to your own mail box allowing your callers to leave you a message. Your phone will alert you when a message is deposited into your mail box. Enhanced Voice Mail service provides additional features such as: message forwarding to another Edge Wireless mail box, group distribution allows you to send a single message to up to 100 Edge Wireless voice mail users, future delivery allows you to record a message and send it at a future date and time of your choice.

Wireless Internet Access is available to laptop and PDA users with GPRS Aircards. The Aircards plug into the PCMCIA cards slot on laptop computer or PDA device. Install the software client included with the Aircard on to the compatible device and now you can surf the internet, collect email or access important corporate information wirelessly.
