Poor quality while indoors
Enclosed structures can adversely affect
wireless signals. Try moving around in the building to find the best signal, get closer to a window, or make the call
outside.
Can place calls but not receive them
Make sure your phone is not set to forward calls
to another number.
NO SERVICE indicator is on
Your phone is not receiving a signal - you are
either out of signal range or your phone is not operating correctly.
Travel back into service area or
contact Customer Care.
Dropped call
A call may be dropped or disconnected due to a
variety of factors including poor signal strength or loss of signal, faulty antennas, and poor weather conditions.
Check your phone's battery power level, charge
phone if battery level is low.
Message Waiting Indicator (MWI) not working
If no MWI appears shortly after someone has left
you a voicemail message, it is likely due to a system error.
If an MWI does appear after you have a message, it
will disappear and not reappear if your phone is turned off, the battery dies, you leave the service area, or in some cases if
you are roaming.
Trouble sending text messages
Confirm the recipient's address or phone number
is entered correctly.
Ensure the recipient has an SMS-capable phone, and
is signed up for SMS service.
If the recipient is outside of a service area, the
system will attempt to deliver the message for 72 hours.
Trouble receiving text messages
Confirm that the phone is on and the message
memory is not full. If message memory is full, delete old messages.
