SMS (Texting)
 Short Messaging Service (SMS) is a feature that allows you to send
text messages to other phones or email accounts.
Mobile-to-Mobile
Go to the Messaging menu on your phone and follow the prompts to send a text message. Refer to your phone's instruction
manual for specific instructions and options available on your specific phone model.
Email-to-Mobile
Every Edge Wireless SMS-enabled phone is assigned an internet email address. This address is always your 10-digit mobile
phone number followed by @sms.edgewireless.com.
Mobile-to-Email
This works exactly like sending a mobile-to-mobile text message, but you enter the recipient's full internet email address
instead of just their 10-digit mobile phone number. This feature is available on most models, please
contact Customer Care for further details.
Ongoing Delivery - If your phone is turned off and/or you are out of the coverage area, your text messages
are stored for three days and will be delivered when you re-enter the coverage area and/or your phone is turned on again.
Message Waiting Indicator - An icon on your phone's screen and an audible beep lets you know when a new
text message has arrived.
